The Pharmacy Assistant will support the Pharmacist or Registered Pharmacy Technician in various tasks, including filling prescriptions, assisting patients, managing pharmacy software, maintaining records, and handling inventory. This role involves direct patient interaction, data entry, and ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions. The assistant will also be responsible for administrative duties, preparing billing and claims, and packing/shipping orders. Reporting Adverse Events and maintaining pharmacy records are crucial aspects of the job. The role may also require on-call duties and general housekeeping.
