As they continue to grow, they are looking for a Full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join their team at the Church Street location in Downtown Edmonton to help deliver the Mint experience — thoughtful service, strong collaboration, and care that puts people first. In this role, the Pharmacy Assistant will play an important part in supporting Mint’s commitment to exceptional service, operational excellence, and a positive experience for patients, customers, and team members.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year experience
- High accuracy in reading prescriptions and labeling products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for patient interactions.
- Basic computer skills, with knowledge of software like Kroll being an asset.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily pharmacy operations, process prescriptions, maintain inventory, and deliver customer service.
- Receive, input, and fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and packaging medication under supervision.
- Greet patients, manage phone inquiries, and process payments or insurance claims.
- Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and remove expired products from shelves.
- Maintain electronic health records (Kroll), organize prescription files, and assist with general pharmacy cleanliness.
