About The Position

Encompass Health is hiring a Pharmacist to support safe medication use and patient well-being in its inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role contributes to community health and rehabilitative care through medication management, pharmacy policy development, clinical services, and independent professional judgment. The Pharmacist oversees daily pharmacy operations, supports regulatory compliance, and participates in interdisciplinary care.

Requirements

• Hold a pharmacy degree from a U.S.-accredited program, or from an international program evaluated by a recognized certifying agency as substantially equivalent to U.S. accreditation standards.
• Be licensed in good standing by the State Pharmacy Board for the state where the hospital is located.

Nice To Haves

• One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contribute to the development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency regulations.
• Participate actively in the interdisciplinary team, using critical information to support positive patient outcomes.
• Accurately interpret, compound, and dispense medication in accordance with legal and professional pharmacy standards.
