Join our Pharmacy Team at MercyOne Genesis Davenport as a Pharmacist! This role provides pharmaceutical services, both distributive and clinical, to patients, nursing staff and other clinical services staff of the Medical Center including information on the safe and effective use of medications. The role requires the ability to act in and oversee all functional areas of the department and provide direction to technical staff.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
Registered Pharmacist in Iowa
Pharmacist applicants obtaining their initial licensure must obtain their Iowa Pharmacist Registration within 6 months of hire.
Those applicants registered in another state must obtain their Iowa Pharmacist Registration within 6 months of hire.
Valid driver's license.
No experience required

Responsibilities

Provides pharmaceutical services, both distributive and clinical, to patients, nursing staff and other clinical services staff of the Medical Center including information on the safe and effective use of medications.
Able to act in and oversee all functional areas of the department.
Provides direction to technical staff.
Employees check the quality of work and provide guidance, instruction, training and direction to others.
The incumbent serves as group leader or acts in an informal "assistant supervisory" or "lead" role.
The employee may be expected to provide information or suggestions on human resources matters.
