About The Position
Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacist coordinates pharmacy department activities to provide the highest quality pharmaceutical care to patients served by the hospital while ensuring patient safety. Patient care may include General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics, and Outpatient Services.
Requirements
- Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
- B.S. degree in Pharmacy required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate pharmacy department activities under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to hospital patients while ensuring patient safety.
- Support patient care across General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics, and Outpatient Services.
