Pharmacist - Community Pharmacy (Per Diem)
About The Position
Our staff of licensed pharmacists provides medications for patients receiving medical care or who may be undergoing medical treatment at St. Vincent’s Medical Center and affiliated clinics. We are available to provide you with up-to-date pharmaceutical information should you have questions regarding your prescription drugs or prescribed drug therapy. Our pharmacists will address your concerns and answer any drug-related question you might have about possible drug-to-drug interactions, drug allergies, correct dosing, or other drug-related issues. We are available to review your medical history with you and to contact your providers, if needed, should you require additional help to clarify their prescription orders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
- Current CT Pharmacist license
- Excellent customer service and communications skills
Nice To Haves
- PharmD preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
Responsibilities

- Addresses patient concerns and answers drug-related questions about possible drug-to-drug interactions, drug allergies, correct dosing, or other drug-related issues.
- Reviews patient medical history and contacts providers if needed to clarify prescription orders.
