About The Position

This role is responsible for assuring patient safety and care quality by meticulously reviewing medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve potential drug-related problems. The pharmacist will optimize patient outcomes by collaborating with physicians to recommend appropriate formulary alternatives and providing expert drug information to the medical team. Additionally, the role involves overseeing and mentoring pharmacy technical personnel in the preparation and accurate dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The pharmacist will also educate and counsel patients on their medication therapies, promoting effective and safe use for better health outcomes, and facilitate seamless clinical operations by ensuring the appropriate selection, dosing, and dispensing of all medication orders.

Requirements

Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy required.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
