About The Position

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join the team at Rx Drug Mart in Moosomin, Saskatchewan. This role focuses on patient-centered care, including delivering clinical services, administering vaccines, monitoring drug therapy, and counseling patients. The pharmacist will also supervise students or provisional pharmacists, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Daily pharmacy operations and other assigned duties are also part of the role.

Requirements

Licensed and in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacist.
Injection certification is required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
Administer vaccines and immunizations.
Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage.
Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities.
Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.
