About The Position

The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing and controlling prescription medication and promoting patient awareness and understanding of their medication regime. In addition, the Staff Pharmacist will collaborate with Katy Trail providers and clinical teams in delivery of clinical pharmacy services to patients of the health center.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, PharmD preferred
• Active Missouri Pharmacy License
• Minimum two years retail pharmacy experience
• Meets requirements to administer vaccines per MO Board of Pharmacy
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communication and interact with a broad range of individuals and variable consumers of pharmacological services
• Willingness to work flexible hours and rotating Saturdays
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects as well as work effective in stressful situations
• Familiarity with pharmacy software implementation and usage optimization
• Proficiency in business software applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, internet, email, and office management systems
• Ability to exercise good judgment in situational analysis and decision-making
• Must be able to see, hear, read, write, kneel, stand for long periods of time, sit, and lift 35 lbs without device assistance
• Must meet CMS guidelines for COVID-19 vaccination
• Possess CPR certification by hire date

Nice To Haves

• Experience in 340B program desired
• Computer RX experience preferred
• Spanish-speaking preferred
