About The Position
The Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine on the Virginia Tech Campus in Blacksburg operates a busy and dynamic pharmacy and is searching for it's next Pharmacist. To provide support in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in accordance with policies/procedures/applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist licensed to practice in Virginia.
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with demonstrated skills and abilities as a Registered Pharmacist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with and support clinicians, house officers, and senior veterinary students in a clinical environment.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge/experience in a college or education setting.
- Hospital pharmacy experience.
- Experience in retail pharmacy.
- Experience in veterinary medicine.
