About The Position

To assist the Director of Pharmacy Services in the day-to-day functions of the pharmaceutical services department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern behavioral healthcare facilities and residential treatment facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Requirements

• Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, system applications, and other equipment relative to pharmaceutical services.
• Must have appropriate accredited certification and state registration
• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, state and government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Must be trustworthy, holding residents medical and personal information in confidence at all times.
• Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
