About The Position

Responsible and accountable for the development, coordination, and supervision of all pharmaceutical services. Oversees facilities compliance with all Federal and State laws regarding pharmaceuticals. Acts to ensure patient safety and inventory control. Provides reports and maintains pharmacy licenses and permits while holding best practices in areas regarding pharmacy issues. Local daily travel in personal vehicle to various facilities required in Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties. Rotational on-call requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a degree in Pharmacy
  • Active Consultant Pharmacist license
  • One-year minimum experience as a consultant pharmacist.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Active and clear Consultant Pharmacist license
  • Must pass level II background and drug screen.
  • Must maintain current training as required by Operation PAR, Inc. policies

  • Addiction and/or mental health experience preferred.

  • Ability to respond in a courteous, pleasant manner and provide in-service education
  • Ability to develop quality standards and reports and the ability to function independently
  • Ability to write accurately and legibly
  • Moderate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Windows-based computers
  • Ability to accurately type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop and reach
  • Ability to sit in meetings for extended periods of time
  • Ability to move throughout program facilities both indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to lift and carry 10 pounds
  • Good hearing and vision
