About The Position

Performs duties in the Hospital Pharmacy related to dispensing and compounding of medication according to departmental policies and procedures for patients spanning all age groups and cultures.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal/written skills.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide pharmaceutical care for the age served patients.
• Demonstrates ability to interpret and assess clinical date necessary to provide care for the age of patients served.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must be familiar with pharmaceutical laws and guidelines.
• Current license by Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.
• Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Hospital experience required.
• Knowledge of USP 797, 800 regulations and processes.
• Positive interpersonal communication skills.
