HOACNY provides cancer care services, Monday through Friday, day hours at three convenient locations in East Syracuse, Syracuse and Auburn. This individual will assist in the organizing, coordinating, and supervising of all aspects of infusion and dispensing pharmacy services within Hematology-Oncology Associates of CNY. This individual oversees, prepares or dispenses commercially available and investigational antineoplastic drugs; assesses medication orders; assists with patient care activities including planning, updating and implementing antineoplastic and antiemetic drug regimens; monitors patients’ response to drug therapy and fluid and pain control medications; recommends changes or alternative therapy; and provides drug related information.

Requirements

Pharm.D. or Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an accredited college
NYS pharmacist license required

Nice To Haves

Three years of related experience preferred.
Oncology Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

Assist in the organizing, coordinating, and supervising of all aspects of infusion and dispensing pharmacy services.
