About The Position
We are seeking a full-time Pharmacist to support both an outpatient (retail) pharmacy and an inpatient hospital setting. This role offers a mix of patient-facing responsibilities and clinical pharmacy services within a collaborative care environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Active Pharmacist license in the State of Michigan
Nice To Haves
- Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred, though candidates with strong foundational knowledge and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, regulatory codes, and professional standards
- Review and verify medication orders from physicians and authorized prescribers for accuracy, potential drug interactions, and allergy concerns
- Prepare and compound intravenous medications using established formulas and sterile processes
- Serve as a resource to healthcare staff and patients by answering medication-related questions and providing guidance
- Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain strict patient and organizational confidentiality at all times
