About The Position

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical and SSM Health, is seeking a Pharmacist for their Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital. This facility is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. Requirements

• Successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.

Nice To Haves

• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.

Responsibilities

• Have a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Provide clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Correctly inform and instruct patients on any drugs to be used after they are discharged.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
