About The Position

Provide prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals as needed for adequate patient care according to professional standards and practices. Advises and consults with patients, families, nursing and medical staff.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Pharmacist
• Managerial skills
• Knowledge of Pharmacy law
• Numerical ability
• Thorough knowledge of Pharmacology
• Aseptic technique
• Accurate analysis and evaluation of orders
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Independent thinking/sound judgment
• Clinical expertise
• Ability to teach/instruct
• Manual and finger dexterity

Nice To Haves

• Hospital experience is preferred
• Professional affiliation helpful
• Continuing education in new drug and IV Therapies and other state-of-art updates recommended
• One (1) year experience desired but not necessary
