About The Position

Walgreens is hiring a pharmacist to provide patient-focused pharmacy and clinical healthcare services. The pharmacist will counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and cost-effective options; provide services such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management; and ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a pharmacist degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of pharmacist experience in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
