About The Position
St. Catherine Hospital, located in Garden City, Kansas, was founded by two pioneering physicians and the Dominican Sisters. It has developed into a thriving health care facility in southwest Kansas, with 85 years of excellence. This is a PRN position, requiring 5 shifts scheduled in a 6-week period, used to cover call-offs, vacations, and other coverage needs. PRN positions are not eligible for benefits but offer a 10% differential on top of the base rate of pay.
Requirements
- B.S. or Pharm.D degree
- HS GED
- Licensed PHARM in Kansas or pursuing one
Nice To Haves
- One year experience as a pharmacist preferred
Responsibilities
- Implement medication use activity and clinical services designed by the Director or and implement cost containment measures involving drug utilization in the hospital.
- Ensure accurate and appropriate dispensing of medications, accurate documentation, provides accurate and complete drug information and provide staff and physician education as appropriate.
