About The Position
This role is for an Inpatient Pharmacy Pharmacist at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX. The position is full-time with a rotating schedule. The pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing and verifying medication orders, compounding and dispensing medications, collaborating with physicians and care teams, leading pharmacy technicians, and providing clinical drug information and education.
Requirements
- Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Responsibilities
- Review and verify medication orders to identify and prevent potential drug-related issues, ensuring safe and effective therapy.
- Compound and dispense medications with precision to support accurate and timely delivery of patient treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to facilitate clear communication and optimal patient outcomes.
- Lead and mentor pharmacy technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment and maintaining high operational standards.
- Provide clinical drug information and education to medical staff and patients, promoting informed medication management.
