About The Position
Southcoast Health is seeking a third-shift Staff Pharmacist to perform professional services related to the clinical review of patient drug therapy. Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy Services or designee, the pharmacist also serves as a resource for Patient Care Services Administrative Supervisors and physicians on pharmacy, medication, and patient therapy concerns. Southcoast Health is a not-for-profit health system serving Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Requirements
- A minimum of a five-year Bachelor of Science degree in a pharmacy program.
- Registered Pharmacist license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.
- At least three years of experience.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19, or qualify for and sign a statement certifying an exemption for medical or personal reasons.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional services related to the clinical review of patient drug therapy.
- Provide pharmacy, medication, and patient therapy guidance to Patient Care Services Administrative Supervisors and/or physicians.
