About The Position

This position is for a PRN Pharmacist. The possible schedule is Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves enforcing pharmacy policies and procedures, performing essential pharmacist tasks such as compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management. The pharmacist will be accountable for safe medication storage, diversion monitoring, and other pharmacy inventory activities. Additionally, the role requires resolving patient complaints and answering questions to ensure a positive patient experience, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations, and TJC standards and elements of performance (EPs). Participation in Quality Improvement-Quality Assurance programs, including the review of error reports, drug utilization reviews, and adverse drug event reporting, is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college or university
  • Current and unrestricted Florida Pharmacy License
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • 2 years experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting
  • Excellent communication skills that will foster trust, clear vision, and mutual respect
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to resolve employee, client and patient issues with a strong service mentality
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop a plan of action to improve, implement and evaluate plan effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel

Responsibilities
