About The Position

Under the direction of the Pharmacist-In-Charge, practice in accordance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. This role involves resolving pharmacy service-related complaints and concerns, ensuring the initial and final evaluation of prescriptions, and contributing to a positive customer experience. The position also requires assisting in training and developing other pharmacy personnel, enforcing company policies, and staying updated on professional developments. Maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and answering drug information questions are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

A valid Pharmacist License, in good standing. (RPh)
Ability to become licensed in multiple states as required.
Two years minimum of pharmacy experience.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Knowledge of laws pertaining to storage, recordkeeping, and dispensing of drugs.
Attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively, patiently, and courteously.
Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once.
Focused team player, who can work in conjunction with pharmacists, other departments, customers, and management.
Work independently with little supervision and meet daily deadlines.
Ability to perform repetitious work accurately.

Responsibilities

Keeping abreast of developments in the professional field.
Respecting and maintaining confidentiality guidelines of HIPAA.
Answering drug information questions as requested.
