In this role as a Flex Pharmacist, you will only be scheduled to work on an as needed basis based on business needs.
Requirements
- Pharmacist State License (may require licensing in multiple states)
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
- Certified Pharmacist Immunizer
- AED, CPR certified
- Computer skills
Nice To Haves
- Certified in a disease state
Responsibilities
- Provide counseling on prescriptions, relay pertinent information for customers to be confidence with at-home use of medication
- Accurately perform all necessary steps of workflow and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products
- Continuously strive for efficiency and seek improvement opportunities
- Identify barriers to achieve goals, and escalate issues when appropriate
- Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed
- Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business
- Keep current on company wellness initiatives and ensure consistency and execution
