Pharmacist
About The Position
Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is a 100% employee-owned, closed-door pharmacy specializing in care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs. This role involves verifying medication packaging and MARs, providing consultations to healthcare providers, performing accurate pharmacy data entry, reviewing medication therapies, administering injections, and participating in medication review committees. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask accurately, and possesses strong communication skills for collaborating with a pharmacy team.
Requirements
- PharmD degree from an accredited institution
- Active Arizona pharmacist license in good standing, or ability to obtain before starting
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Verify multidose medication packaging and MARs
- Provide consultations to nurses, prescribers and other healthcare providers
- Complete accurate pharmacy data entry
- Review medication therapies, interactions and clinical concerns
- Administer a variety of injections
- Participate in medication review committees as needed
- Work alongside pharmacists and technicians to keep medications accurate and on time
