About the Role: As a pharmacist at Neighborhood, you’ll lead with kindness as you care for patient populations that include those who’ve had limited access to healthcare. You’ll use your training, skills, and good judgment. You’ll report to the supervising pharmacist and float between our 3 pharmacies. Essential duties include: Provide education and counseling to patients Consult on pharmaceutical questions with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers Dispense prescriptions following standard operating procedures for receiving, filling, dispensing, logging and maintaining loss prevention control You will work at all three Neighborhood pharmacies – Blasdell, Mattina, and Riverway – as needed. You won’t be working weekends. Our health centers are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
• Minimum 2 years of community pharmacy experience
• New York State Pharmacist License with current registration
• Fluent in English.
