About The Position
At Centinela Hospital Medical Center, the Pharmacist coordinates pharmacy department activities under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy. The role provides high-quality pharmaceutical care to hospital patients while ensuring patient safety. Patient care may include General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics, and Outpatient Services.
Requirements
- Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy required.
- APhA Immunization Certification required.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate pharmacy department activities under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients served by the hospital while ensuring patient safety.
