Pharmacist
About The Position
We are seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our team. This role involves compounding non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations, including capsules, tablets, oral liquids, and topical medications. You will be responsible for compounding medications, filling and labeling prescriptions, and packaging medications. Additionally, you will counsel clients on medication usage and instructions, maintain accurate records, and monitor inventory levels in compliance with USP 795, State Board of Pharmacy regulations, and company policies. You will also collaborate with the development team to provide product guidance and participate in sales activities, such as visiting veterinary clinics. Performing Care Pharmacist duties will be required on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- Licensed pharmacist in NY, in good standing with all State Boards of Pharmacy
- Formal training in non-sterile compounding or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in non-sterile compounding
- Impeccable attention to detail, and high standards for accuracy and quality
- Collaborative and desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, startup environment
Nice To Haves
- Preference given to veterinary compounding experience
Responsibilities
