About The Position

We’re looking for a Pharmacist to join our team and provide licensed services to the patients/customers of Evara Health Pharmacy. This Provider conducts functional supervision of pharmacy operations, and assists the Pharmacy Director in assuring that all pharmacy operations and activities comply with the directions of Evara Health and all Federal and State laws and regulations.

Requirements

• BS in Pharmacy, PharmD preferred
• At least 1 year of experience
• Current and unencumbered Pharmacist License in the State of Florida
• Current CPR Certification required
• This position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality pharmaceutical care by accurately dispensing prescriptions, verifying medications, monitoring medication regimens, and documenting relevant information in the EHR.
• Counsel patients on medication use, interactions, side effects, dosage, storage, and other medication-related questions; provide consultation to medical providers and care team members as needed.
• Maintain accurate prescription processing, medication inventory, controlled substance counts, daily/monthly logs, audit trails, and required pharmacy reports.
• Monitor medication expiration dates, recalls, refrigerator temperatures, inventory levels, and loss-prevention practices to support safe and compliant pharmacy operations.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, federal, and Evara Health requirements, including proper documentation, controlled substance procedures, and required reporting.
• Maintain an active, unencumbered Florida pharmacist license, complete required continuing education, and report improper or unethical conduct or regulatory violations in accordance with compliance requirements.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, assistants, and interns, ensuring required duties, safety checks, and operational responsibilities are completed accurately.
• Support the education and development of students, interns, and pharmacy staff while staying current on developments in pharmacy practice and relevant community needs.
• Collaborate with medical providers and care team members to support patient care, answer medication-related questions, and provide disease-state consultation when appropriate.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas while promoting quality, safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement in pharmacy services.
