Pharmacist
About The Position
The Pharmacist coordinates pharmacy department activities under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to hospital patients while ensuring patient safety. Patient care may include General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics, and Outpatient Services. This is a part-time evening position at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. The clinical shift is 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, and the operational shift is 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. Scheduling includes every other weekend, three of six designated holidays annually, and participation in the overnight rotation pool (8:30 PM–7:00 AM) as needed to cover pharmacist PTO.
Requirements
- Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
- B.S. degree in Pharmacy required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
- BLS certification preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred.
