We are hiring for a Part-Time Pharmacist with a wage range of $70.00 - $80.00 at our location in Drumheller, AB.

Requirements

Pharmacist registered with the Alberta College of Pharmacy and in good standing
Strong organizational, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfortable working during peak pharmacy hours including daytime and weekends
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.

Nice To Haves

Injection certification is an asset
Prior experience as a pharmacist is an asset

Responsibilities

Assist the Pharmacy Manager with day-to-day pharmacy operations in an accurate and timely manner
Check prescriptions for proper dosage
Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products
Dispense prescribed pharmaceutical products
Advise patients on the administration, uses, and effects of medication
Maintain patient profiles
Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products
Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medication
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, professional standards and applicable laws and regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area
Providing an exceptional customer experience
