About The Position

PharmcareUSA in San Marcos, TX is excited to announce that we are in need of a Registered Pharmacist to join our team!! PharmcareUSA is a growing, privately operated National LTC pharmacy provider operated by pharmacists. We are looking for an energetic, patient caring, critical thinking, person that can communicate, both written and verbally. We are looking for the person that desires to organize, lead, and manage when called upon. Pay is based on experience. Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, 401K, Life Insurance and other supplemental options. PTO available to Full Time employees. Previous LTC experience is a plus, but not necessary for the right candidate.

Requirements

Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations at all times
Maintain required Continuing Education credits
Maintain current licensing by the state(s) in which he/she practices

Nice To Haves

Previous LTC experience is a plus, but not necessary for the right candidate.
IV experience a positive.

Responsibilities

Assist and manage pharmacy technicians as required and as necessary.
Assist with phone calls, as necessary.
Evaluate medication administration to verify that it conforms with the prescribers’ orders.
Adhere with all compliance requirements.
Develop and supervise medication management systems to ensure that adequate supplies of medications are available to meet resident care needs, stored under appropriate and secure conditions, delivered to residents in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, and labeled appropriately.
