Position Summary We are seeking a motivated, customer-service-oriented Licensed Pharmacist to join our high-volume pharmacy team. This is a PRN position designed to provide coverage as needed. Candidates should have a flexible schedule, with regular Saturday shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving, energetic clinic environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (R.Ph.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred.
• Proficiency in basic compounding is required.
• Must hold a current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Utah.
• Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize, organize, and manage workflows in a busy environment.
• Self-starter mentality with a "team player" attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and lead subordinates effectively.
• Flexibility to provide coverage for the Pharmacy Director as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PioneerRX pharmacy management software and independent retail operations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill all clinical and retail pharmacy functions, ensuring drugs are dispensed safely, accurately, and in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Patient Care: Provide expert consultation to patients regarding prescription medications, non-prescription products, and medical devices.
• Operational Support: Assist with ordering products, inventory management, and supporting pharmacy initiatives to stimulate growth within the clinic and retail sectors.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain effective controls against theft or diversion, ensure accurate record-keeping in the data processing system, and submit relevant information to the Controlled Substance Database in a timely manner.
• Team Leadership: Provide education and training to pharmacy technicians and interns; delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Facility Management: Execute opening and closing procedures, including securing the facility and managing alarm codes.
• Customer Excellence: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints with a professional, action-oriented approach.
