City Employee Pharmacy is staffed by experienced personnel who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of pharmaceutical care for the city employees of Colorado Springs, CO.

Pay Rate is $75.00 p/h
Hours of Operation are Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy
• Pharm D or equivalent demonstrated experience required
• Clear/Active Colorado Pharmacist license
• 3+ years retail pharmacy experience
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing all of the duties of a pharmacist, ensuring that prescriptions are dispensed safely and accurately, and for adhering to all applicable State and Federal laws that govern the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing of medications, record keeping, etc.
• Pharmacist may be required to precept pharmacy students and residents and serve as a drug information resource to patients and other healthcare professionals.
