About The Position

Walgreens is hiring a pharmacist to provide patient-focused pharmacy care. The role provides expert pharmacy consultations, patient education, and clinical healthcare services while ensuring medication safety and regulatory compliance. Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Pharmacist degree from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Certified immunizer, or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
At least 1 year of pharmacist experience in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software, technology systems, and insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
Educate and consult patients about medication use, side effects, and cost-effective options.
Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding and dispensing, and maintain regulatory compliance.
Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
