About The Position
Roxborough Memorial Hospital, a 131-bed community hospital and member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Pharmacist. Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacist coordinates pharmacy department activities to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care and ensure patient safety. Patient care may involve general medicine and surgery, intensive care, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, emergency care, oncology, peri-operative care, geriatrics, and outpatient services. The position is per diem with a variable shift.
Requirements
- Current state Registered Pharmacist license.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy.
- APhA Immunization Certification.
- BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- BLS and ACLS certification are listed as preferred; BLS is also specified as required under facility-specific requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate pharmacy department activities under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients served by the hospital.
- Ensure patient safety.
