This position is for an experienced Pharmacist responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy under the direction of the Pharmacy Director.

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist.
• Licensed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance to all federal and state regulations for controlled substances.
• Assures appropriate handling, documentation, and control of controlled substances.
• Maintain adequate medication supply.
• Assists Director of Clinical Services and Nursing with tracking Medication Errors and Adverse Drug Reactions as appropriate and develops and implements improved procedures to minimize and prevent future adverse medication events.
• Ensures the integrity of the medication supply.
• Establishes specifications for the procurement of medications, chemicals and biologicals.
