About The Position
A healthcare facility is seeking a Pharmacist to join its hospital pharmacy team and provide safe, effective medication management services. This on-site position supports clinical pharmacy operations and collaborates with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication use and quality patient care.
Requirements
- Licensed in Iowa as a Registered Pharmacist.
- Graduate of a college of pharmacy.
- Clinical pharmacy experience (2–4 years) in a hospital setting required.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy services within a hospital setting.
- Review, verify, and dispense medications accurately according to established pharmacy standards.
- Support safe medication management through clinical assessment and appropriate therapeutic recommendations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy.
- Monitor medication use and promote safe, effective, and evidence-based pharmaceutical care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in pharmacy operations that support quality patient care and department goals.
