Requirements

Pharmacist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe and effective medication management by reviewing, verifying, compounding, dispensing, and overseeing appropriate selection, dosing, and administration of medications.
Identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems; recommend formulary alternatives; and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient care.
Supervise and support pharmacy technical personnel in medication preparation, maintenance, and distribution processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide drug information, patient counseling, and education to medical staff and patients; support academic initiatives as a preceptor and provide coverage across pharmacy operations as needed.
