About The Position

PharmcareUSA is hiring a Registered Pharmacist for its growing, privately operated national long-term-care pharmacy. The role involves evaluating medication administration to ensure it conforms with prescribers’ orders, assisting and managing pharmacy technicians as needed, and helping with phone calls. The pharmacist must comply with applicable pharmacy regulations and other compliance requirements and maintain current state licensure and continuing education credits. Long-term-care experience is a plus but is not required for the right candidate. Pay is based on experience.

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist.
• Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations at all times.
• Maintain required continuing education credits.
• Maintain current licensing by the state or states in which the pharmacist practices.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Organize, lead, and manage when called upon.

Nice To Haves

• Previous long-term-care pharmacy experience.
• IV experience.

Responsibilities
