Part-time Pharmacist (Monday - Wednesday)
About The Position
Valley Healthcare provides comprehensive primary care, selected specialties and referral services for the Chattahoochee valley regardless of circumstances. Our company is growing rapidly and we are currently in search of providers to help our growing families! We are looking for an experienced provider who is passionate about caring for patients and treating their medical needs. You will perform exams and procedures, counsel patients, and treat patients throughout their lifetime.
Requirements
- A doctoral degree from an accredited program.
- Must be licensed to practice in Georgia.
- Must successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
- Every employee is required to sign a Pledge of Confidentiality.
- Every employee is required to protect their computer log-on and password.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 1 year experience is preferred.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for filling and distributing prescriptions to patients.
- Advises patients on generics, selection, dosages, interactions, and side effects of medications.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and all Federal, State and Local medical service requirements.
- Protect their computer log-on and password.
- Secure your work area prior to leaving it unattended for an extended period of time.
- Log-off of your computer and secure your work area prior to leaving at the end of the day.
- Comply with requirements for closing or locking files, securing equipment, or locking the building.
