About The Position
Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacist coordinates pharmacy department activities to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to hospital patients while ensuring patient safety. Patient care may include General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics, and Outpatient Services.
Requirements
- Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate pharmacy department activities under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients served by the hospital while ensuring patient safety.
- Provide patient care in areas that may include General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics, and Outpatient Services.
