This pharmacist position is responsible for the provision of clinical pharmacy services for adult patients in acute care and surgical specialties such as emergency medicine, critical care, and solid organ transplant. There are opportunities to cross train in other clinical specialties such as pediatrics.

Requirements

Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy.
PharmD or equivalent education and hospital training / experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact with supervisors, peers, support personnel and students.
Demonstrated understanding of general hospital and ambulatory operations.
Demonstrated ability to integrate clinical services, education and research activities.
Registered pharmacist in Florida or eligible for same.

Nice To Haves

PGY1 residency preferred.
PGY2 residency highly preferred.
Two years pharmacy experience in an organized health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities
