Requirements

• Licensed Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 1 year of Inpatient Hospital Experience
• Licensed pharmacist or eligible to be licensed in Texas

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders to identify and prevent potential drug-related issues, ensuring safe and effective therapy.
• Compound and dispense medications with precision to support accurate and timely delivery of patient treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to facilitate clear communication and optimal patient outcomes.
• Lead and mentor pharmacy technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment and maintaining high operational standards.
• Provide clinical drug information and education to medical staff and patients, promoting informed medication management.
