About The Position

The Inpatient Staff Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within the hospital setting. This role includes reviewing and verifying medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety; performing and overseeing sterile compounding in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards; and checking medications prior to dispensing. The pharmacist also manages automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs), ensuring proper inventory control and medication availability. In collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, the pharmacist provides clinical recommendations to optimize medication therapy and promote positive patient outcomes.
