About The Position
Under the direction of the Pharmacy Operations Manager, process medication orders resulting in patients receiving safe and effective drug therapy. Provide supervision to Pharmacy Technicians assisting in these processes.
Requirements
- 3-5 years hospital pharmacy experience and/or including residencies/fellowships.
- Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university.
- Current New Jersey Pharmacist license.
- Current New Jersey Immunizing Pharmacist license.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills.
- Excellent time management.
- BLS and ACLS certification (preferred, required within first year of employment).
Responsibilities
- Process medication orders resulting in patients receiving safe and effective drug therapy.
- Provide supervision to Pharmacy Technicians assisting in these processes.
