About The Position
Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown is seeking a Full-time Pharmacist for their Pharmacy Services Inpatient department. This role operates on a 7 on / 7 off schedule. The pharmacist will review and optimize medication orders, identify and resolve drug-related issues, recommend formulary alternatives, and provide drug information to medical staff and patients. They will also oversee medication compounding and delivery, lead technical support staff, serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students, and provide patient counseling. Additionally, the pharmacist will collaborate with physicians to ensure seamless care and offer flexible coverage within the department.
Requirements
- Pharmacist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

- Hospital experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
