About The Position

Mixlab, a growing veterinary compounding pharmacy, is seeking a Pharmacist for its Hollywood, FL location. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations in the Florida facilities and making Mixlab a dependable resource for customers and veterinarians. The position is part-time, requiring 28 hours per week. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and driven to provide excellent service to customers and their pets.

Requirements

Licensed certified pharmacist in FL, in good standing with all State Boards of Pharmacy.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Incredibly high standards for accuracy and quality.
Collaborative spirit and desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, startup environment.

Compounding experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Ensure pharmacy performance meets daily goals and expectations in partnership with pharmacy leadership.
Address workflow and pharmacy-related questions.
Facilitate the smooth flow of orders within and between process areas.
Guide staff pharmacists in best practices and contribute to process improvement.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements and adherence to Mixlab values.
Support and coordinate with the Pharmacy Manager, Department Leads, and PIC on daily/weekly operating plans.
Oversee compound pharmaceutical preparations, ensure workflow efficiency, and proactively address waste and errors.
Perform final verifications on all compounds before packaging.
Provide expert guidance to internal teams on compounding and workflow.
Collaborate with the quality team to ensure robust quality assurance processes.
Maintain FL state license and other necessary licenses.
Perform Care Pharmacist duties as needed.
Be capable and willing to perform primary workflow responsibilities as a pharmacist in all areas of the FL pharmacy.
