About The Position
The Pharmacist ensures prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care services for patients, nurses, and physicians. The role applies pharmaceutical knowledge and expertise to support quality health services and patient care. This position is with Navos, part of MultiCare’s Behavioral Health Network, which provides behavioral health care, including inpatient psychiatric care, residential treatment, and community-based programs.
Requirements
- Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency is preferred.
- At least one year of pharmacy experience in a setting appropriate to the work assignment, such as a hospital, retail, clinic, or other setting, is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications to patients, interpret IV admixture orders, and prepare primary IV solutions.
- Manufacture nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required and maintain appropriate records.
- Supervise support personnel and take responsibility for the final check of completed work.
- Assist in inspecting pharmaceutical supplies across all services.
- Provide safe and accurate pharmaceutical care services.
