About The Position
PharmcareUSA is a growing, privately operated National Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy provider, run by pharmacists, with locations in multiple states. The company is seeking an energetic, patient-caring, and critical-thinking Registered Pharmacist for its North Little Rock, AR location. PharmcareUSA is a closed-door pharmacy business that provides daily medication deliveries and consulting services to nursing and assisted living facilities, as well as hospice residents. The company is passionate about its work and strives to take care of both its staff and customers.
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist
- Energetic, patient caring, critical thinking, person that can communicate, both written and verbally
- Comply with State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations at all times
- Maintain required Continuing Education credits
- Maintain current licensing by the state(s) in which he/she practices
Nice To Haves
- Previous LTC experience
- IV experience
Responsibilities
- Assist and manage pharmacy technicians as required and as necessary
- Assist with phone calls, as necessary
- Evaluate medication administration to verify that it conforms with the prescribers’ orders
- Adhere with all compliance requirements
